Abstract

Curriculum transformation requires a teacher to make continuous innovations in learning according to the applicable curriculum. The student’s interest in learning needs to be encouraged through the presence of interactive, enjoyable teaching materials that help students achieve good learning outcomes and processes. Student worksheets (SW) are a medium that helps and makes it easier for teachers and students in teaching and learning activities so that interaction between students and teachers is created, aiming to escalate activities and students' learning achievements. Therefore, researchers innovatively developed student worksheets (WS) based on project- based learning (PjBL). The research aims to determine the feasibility of PjBL-based WS based on the assessment of experts (content, media, language) and student responses. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) with its ten working steps. The results of the expert assessment on the content of PjBL-based WS obtained a score of  82.03% “very feasible,” media experts 86.5% “very feasible,” and language experts 83% “very feasible,” as well as student responses of 53% “sufficiently positive." It can be concluded that the development of project-based SW encourages students to learn biology actively,especially the ecosystem material. This WS is able to support students' learning activities to be more motivated to excel while getting to know a wider range of ecosystem knowledge and participating in maintaining the ecosystem around where they live.
