Abstract

This study aims to develop a practicum based biology module  for class X SMA Tahfiz Al-Batthawi NWDI Kerongkong. In this development research refers to the ADDIE development model which is carried out through five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The product developed was validated and assessed by 1 material expert and 1 media expert. The limited trial in this study was given to 15 students of class X. The instrument in this study was a checklist questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out by scoring using a Likert scale, then calculating the average of each aspect. The results of the validation of material experts on the product after improvement, the module product received an average assessment percentage of 85%. The criteria for the aspect of content feasibility were very feasible with a percentage of 85%, the presentation aspect 87%, and the language feasibility aspect of 83%. The module was validated by one of the biology education lecturers at Nahdlatul Wathan Mataram University, namely Rustam, M.Pd., material validation was carried out by providing a response questionnaire regarding the content or material aspects contained in the module. Media expert validation was carried out with an assessment that included three criteria, namely: Module size, module cover design (cover), and content design. Media expert validation, namely Hermansyah, M.Pd. by providing a questionnaire to assess the practicum-based learning module. Based on the results of the media expert validation, it can be seen that from all the assessment criteria, very valid criteria were obtained. In the assessment criteria for module size and cover design, a percentage score of 95% was obtained. Then in the content design assessment, the percentage score was 90%, so that the average feasibility reached 97% with very feasible criteria. While the results of student responses Based on the results of a limited trial conducted in class X of SMA Tahfiz Al-Batthawi NWDI Kerongkong with 15 students, it was found that the average percentage of teaching materials for the practicum-based teaching module was 85% with very feasible criteria.
