This research is based on the fact that Instagram microblogs are needed as learning media that can be used as additional media in learning activities. The purpose of this research is to explain the types of protozoa found in fish pond water. In addition, this study also aims to explain the results of Instagram microblogs that have been designed and created. The method used in protozoa sampling is random observation. The protozoa obtained in the observation sample were 9 types of protozoa, namely Arcella vulgaris, Bursaria truncatella, Coleps hirtus, Halteria grandinella, Litonotus tropicus, Pleuronema, Paramecium caudatum, Stentor coeruleus, and Euglena viridis. Of these species, Paramecium caudatum was the most common, while Arcella vulgaris only appeared in limited numbers. The majority of protozoa identified came from the phylum Ciliophora, which plays an important role in maintaining the stability of aquatic ecosystems. The protozoa identified can be used as the basis for making learning media, which has the advantage that many types of protozoa are taken directly from the surrounding environment such as fish ponds. A detailed explanation of protozoa will facilitate students in the biology learning process. Thus, Instagram microblogs have the potential to be an effective supplementary biology learning media in students' understanding of protozoa material.
