Pengaruh Metode Demonstrasi dan Model Project Based Learning (PjBL) Keterampilan Berpikir Kreatif Siswa Kelas X IPA di SMA Negeri 1 Praya Barat

This study aims to determine the effect of the demonstration method taught using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on the creative thinking skills of class X IPA students at SMA Negeri 1 Praya Barat. The method used is quasi-experimental (Quasi-Experimental). The population in this study were all students of class X MIPA 1, consisting of 4 classes with a total of 72 students. This study used two sample groups, namely the experimental group and the control group, the study consisted of 18 students for the experimental group and 18 students for the control group. The experimental group in this study is a group of students who receive learning by demonstration method taught using the project based learning (PjBL) model, while the control group is a group of students who use conventional learning. The instruments used in this study were test essays and observation sheets which were then tested in a class with a pretest-posttest design. The average results of quantitative data analysis show the achievement of students' creative thinking skills in the pretest and posttest. Based on statistical hypothesis testing with the t'n test (α = 0.05) the result is 0.000. From the results of calculations using N-Gain, the results obtained are 62.86 in the high category. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the demonstration method taught using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on the creative thinking skills of class X IPA students at SMA Negeri 1 Praya Barat for the 2021/2022 academic year.
